Naidu winds up ‘padayatra’in Krishna district

‘Vastunna Meekosam’ enters Guntur district via Prakasam barrage

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu wounded up his ‘Vastunna Meekosam padayatra’ in Krishna district on Wednesday. The Telugu Desam leader entered Guntur district via Prakasam barrage. The TDP Guntur district unit leaders welcomed him on the barrage itself.

Mr. Naidu began his day’s padayatra near Pandit Nehru Bus Station (PNBS) and reached Prakasam Barrage along with district leaders. He posed for snaps with every scribe and photojournalist from the city.

Mr. Naidu was in the district for 17 days though he was scheduled to wind up his walkathon in 10 days. He took rest at Paritala near here for four days. And the ‘padayatra’ slowed down as he suffered sprain in his left leg. His pink toe has also swollen. The TDP leader will again visit the district in next 10 days. He will enter the district from Penumudi varadhi between Repalle in Guntur district and Avanigadda in Krishna district. He is slated to cover East Krishna during his second phase of ‘padayatra’ in the district. He will enter West Godavari district after covering all the constituencies in East Krishna. Machilipatnam MP Konakalla Narayana Rao, Mylavaram MLA and TDP district president Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, Jaggaiahpeta MLA Sriram Rajagopal, former mayor Panchumarthi Anuradha, TDP urban president Vallabhaneni Vamsi, Vijayawada (west) in-charge Budha Venkanna, Vijayawada (central) in-charge Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, Vijayawada (east) in-charge Gadde Rammohan, senior leader Nettem Raghuram, Kesineni Srinvas (Nani) and others were present.
