Minister to inaugurate performing arts show today

Minister for Tourism Bhuma Akhila Priya will inaugurate the two-day Indian Performing Arts Show at Kurnool outdoor stadium on March 3 evening.

The event will showcase an array of local cultural dances, the classical dance Bharatanatyam, a mime performance, a comedy show by Siva Reddy and dances by Prince dance troupe. Noted comedian Kanneganti Brahmanandam will make a special appearance in the event. Telugu singers Geeta Madhuri and Sri Krishna and their troupes would give special performances.

A.P. Legislative Council chairman N.Md. Farooq, Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy and Kurnool MLA S.V. Mohan Reddy and officials will attend the event, being held by the A.P. Tourism Authority.

District Collector S. Satyanarayana released a poster of the event in the Collectorate on Friday. Regional Director of Tourism G. Gopal said the event was open to all.
