Minister floored by base hospital, announces permanent centre

Minister for Health Kamineni Srinivas was so impressed with the 10-bed base hospital established at the Pundit Nehru Bus Station jointly by the Saptha Thalassaemia Foundation and the Goldmedal Switches and Systems he announced on the spot that a permanent centre would be created in the bus stand soon as possible. He said the base hospital made him realise that there was a need for such a facility at the bus stand.

4 doctors, paramedics always at call

Saptha Foundation chairman V Sarat Babu said four doctors and four paramedics would work at the centre round the clock. As many as 375 patients mostly with cold, fever and body pains took treatment at the centre. A 35-year-old man who complained of chest pain was given first aid.
