The district administration has completed seeding of Aadhaar numbers of people in 5,298 out of 8,659 enumeration blocks with the National Population Register (NPR) data. Steps were taken to finish the task by February 15 as required by the Census Department.
In a video-conference with Principal Secretary (General Administration) Lingaraj Panigrahi on Friday, Mr. Babu said the seeding was not satisfactory in three municipalities and eight mandals in the district and necessary action taken to set things right.
Enumeration and seeding of Aadhaar numbers of 20,25,703 individuals with NPR was done out of 27,56,814 in 8,659 blocks.
