‘Krishnaveni Ghat will be spruced up by tomorrow’

Krishnaveni Ghat would be spruced up as a model ghat by Friday, according to Krishna Pushkarams Special Officer B. Rajasekhar.

He inspected the ongoing works at ghats in the city along with District Collector Babu A. and others here on Wednesday.

On the occasion, he said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would inspect the ghats on Friday. The Krishnaveni Ghat would be readied in all aspects by then. All major ghats would be monitored by officers of Sub-Collector rank during pushkarams. A 10-member team comprising officials from various departments would be constituted for each ghat, he said. Joint Collector Gandham Chandrudu, Sub-Collectors Lakshmi Shah, G. Srujana, Additional CP P. Harikumar, DCP Ashok Kumar, ACP G. Ramakrishna and others were present.
