The timing of ‘jala deeksha’ of YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and the Telangana Government sending excavators to the Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme (RDS) show that the Leader of the Opposition was hand-in-glove with TRS leaders in a bid to embarrass the Andhra Pradesh Government, alleged Water Sources Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Mr. Umamaheswara Rao said that the YSR Congress MP and the MLA who had joined the TRS bagged contracts for the illegal irrigation projects for which the Telangana Government finalised tenders recently.
