IRR project: plots allotted for temple, mosque

: District Collector Babu A. announced at a review meeting on Inner Ring Road project, the allotment of a plot measuring six cents at Currency Nagar to the mosque at Ramavarappadu which is being removed to facilitate construction of the road.

Besides, a sum of Rs.15 lakh is being provided from Wakf Board for building the mosque and another Rs.11 lakh towards its structural component.

Similarly, a plot of six cents has been allotted for construction of the Sri Veerabrahmendra Swamy temple at Vaddera Colony. The existing temple at Ramavarappadu is being removed for the same purpose as above.

Each place of worship is being given six cents, says District Collector
