Innovation was the buzzword at the Techno Avishkarana, a technical exhibition held by The Hindu Future India Club in association with the Vignan University here at the Wolf Hall grounds on Sunday.

Students from the Vignan group of educational institutions presented a range of technical exhibits, showcasing their creativity and technical knowledge.

The exhibits covered the trending technologies like Internet of Things, Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Technology etc.

An exhibit on e-helmet was one of the attractions. The students, Dasari Sai Manikanta, Devarasetty Gowri Priyanka and D. Rajesh presented a model in which an IR sensor had been plugged in the ear of the driver and connected to the RF communicator and the engine chugged only when the sensor sent command to the communicator.

In an exhibit on radar controlling sensor, the students presented how the sensor could detect objects and send an alarm buzz.

In an exhibit on ATM crime prevention system, G. Indra, B. Mercy, E. Saraswati and Y. Srilakshmi showed how sensory controls at the ATM centres could alert the police and fire personnel in case of an ATM break-in.

Using solar panels, K. Rachana Priya, P. Srilakshmi, A. Saroja and B. Rahul showed how solar powered light detectors powered by micro controllers could reduce vehicle pollution.

Over 6,000 exhibits on various topics were presented in the exhibition.
