: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Anurag Thakur and secretary Ajay Shikre will make a whirlwind tour in Krishna and Guntur districts on Monday inaugurating cricketing facilities spruced up Andhra Cricket Association (ACA).
Both will arrive in a chartered plane and would head to Mulapadu in Krishna district where they will be inaugurating two cricket playfields at 11 a.m.
Later they will head to Mangalagiri where they will inaugurate the indoor stadium which is built at the upcoming ACA cricket stadium near the new capital city – Amaravati —at 2 p.m. “If time permits, they will also visit the ACA Women's Academy at Guntur which has been adopted by the board as headquarters of the Indian women cricket,” said BCCI senior selection committee member MSK Prasad.
State Ministers Prathipati Pulla Rao, P. Narayana, K. Atchannaidu, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, Kamineni Srinivas, Members of Parliament Galla Jayadev, Kesineni Srinivas (Nani), Mangalagiri MLA A. Ramakrishna Reddy, CRDA commissioner N. Srikanth, Guntur District Collector Kantilal Dande, Navulluru sarpanch Banavath Balaji Naik along with ACA members will grace the function.
