Health Minister Kamineni Srinivasa Rao on Thursday inaugurated three Public Health Centres (PHCs) in Diviseema region in Krishna district during his one-day tour. The new PHCs at Sorlagondi, Mandapakala and Talagadaladeevi will begin functioning with immediate effect to provide medical services to the local communities including Yanadi tribal families. Dr. Rao also met the junior doctors who were on a relay hunger strike on the Government Hospital premises in Avanigadda.
