A one-day health camp was held as part of a unique health service at Angaluru of Gudlavalleru mandal in Krishna district.

As part of the health service, persons residing in the village are continuously monitored online. DesiMD Foundation, an arm of the online DesiMD Healthcare organization, which specialises in online Active Health Management (AHM) services, conducted its second health camp in the village on Monday. This village was earlier adopted in September 2015, as a pilot project by Amar Sai Trust, which is led by Sharada Devi, for a free of cost, year-long convenience-based healthcare services.

These were unique services because healthcare does not end with the health camp, but will continue for a year, with periodic doctor consultation with members registered at the camp.

The members have access to DesiMD primary doctor 24/7, according to DesiMD spokesperson Sudha Naidu.
