May 13, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:49 am IST - VIJAYAWADA:

The State government has decided to return the fee paid by the people for supply of sand through eSeva.

The sand was sold for a price by Self Help Groups (SHGs) that bagged the contract of sand reach. The prescribed rate used to be paid through eSeva counters.

Now that the government has introduced new policy of supplying sand free of cost, it was decided to return all the money paid until the new policy was announced. The customers who paid the fee for sand have been requested to submit the details of the Mahila Society concerned before May 25.
