Efforts on for better implementation of E-Office

District Collector Babu A. has said that continuous efforts are being made for harnessing the power of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) through better integration of Android phones, tablet computers and other platforms.

In a video-conference with Rachna Srivastava, Coordinator at the E-Office Division of National Informatics Centre (NIC), New Delhi, on Wednesday, Mr. Babu said the e-office system was successfully implemented from grass-root level in Andhra Pradesh under the guidance of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

I-Pads were distributed up to the village level and it was helping in efficient rendering of services and monitoring them on a real-time basis. Krishna district and the entire State made significant progress in the implementation of Aadhar-Enabled Payment System (AEPS).

Due priority was given to data and information security, he added. On the occasion, Ms. Srivastava said the electronic governance model of A.P evoked nation-wide interest and that the NIC was taking note of the innovative ideas that took the quality of public service in the State to the next level.
