A three-day district-level science fair will be held at S.F.S. High School here from December 2 to 4.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, District Educational Officer B Venkata Narasamma said elaborate arrangements have been made in collaboration with the allied government departments and other institutions to ensure successful and smooth conduct of the science exhibition.
The focal theme of the science exhibition is ‘Science and Technology for Challenges in Life' with ‘Biodiversity: Conservation and Sustenance,' ‘Agriculture and Technology,' ‘Green Energy,' ‘Transport and Communication,' ‘Community Health & Environment,' and ‘Mathematical Modelling,' as sub-themes.
All the head masters of upper primary and high schools in the district should motivate the students for their active participation in the science fair, she said.
Deputy DEO and science fair convener K Adinarayana Murthy, District Common Examination Board secretary E Ranga Rao, organising committee member G Mallikarjuna Sarma and representatives of various schools were also present.
