For people who dream to own an apartment or a house, Seshasai Kalyana Vedika is the place to be in as CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India) is hosting a two-day property show that began on Saturday.

The idea of CREDAI is simple just ‘walk in with a dream and walk out owning that dream in reality’, said the CREDAI- Vijayawada Chapter president Y.V. Ramana Rao.

The property show boasts of over 50 stalls, covering real estate companies, furniture and fittings, bathroom fittings and electrical fittings. Six financial institutions such as State Bank of India, HDFC, Indian Overseas Bank, Andhra Bank and LIC HFL have also set-up stalls.

The properties showcased range from middle class to high-end apartments in gated community to row housing.

First show

This is the first show being organised by CREDAI and we wanted to give the people a whole range under one roof. They need not go to every nook and corner of the city to identify a property, said the CREDAI –Vijayawada Chapter general secretary K. Rajendra.

Spot loans

He added that the builders who are constructing apartments and row houses within 15 km. radius of the city and who are members of the association have set-up stalls. Just decide the property, have a look at the furniture and fittings and go for spot loans being offered by the banks and financial institutions, and walk out a happy man, said Mr. Rajendra.

Giving details on CREDAI, Mr. Ramana, said that it has got about 9,000 members across 20 states and 128 cities in the country.

He also informed that all members, who are basically real estate developers are bound by the self code of conduct of the association.

The code encompasses various aspects such as quality of the construction and authenticity of the title of the property, he said.

Mr. Ramana further added that CREDAI not only takes up issues in regard to the construction industry with the authorities concerned in the State and Central Government but also provides security to the customers (apartment and house owners) who deal with the members of CREDAI.

The show was inaugurated by the District Collector M. Raghunandana Rao in the presence of the CREDAI National president C. Sekhar Reddy.
