The Congress Government in Andhra Pradesh has no right to continue to rule the people as it has lost their trust with its alleged anti-people’s policies, YSR Congress Krishna District Convener Samineni Udayabhanu has said.

Collecting the ballot papers of `Praja Ballot’ conducted by the party constituency in-charge persons in all the Assembly constituencies, Mr. Udaybhanu said on Sunday that with the power-cuts and increase in prices/power tariff the government was burdening the people. “Government has lost people’s trust, which is evident from the anti-government sentiments expressed by people in the 2,16,050 ballots polled in the district,” Mr. Udayabhanu said.

While accepting the ballot papers from Penamaluru Assembly constituency brought by Tatineni Padmavathi, he reminded people of the several pro-farmers measures taken up by former Chief Minister Y.S.Rasekhara Reddy, while the present government was burdening all classes of people including the farmers in all possible ways. The Arogyasri has been diluted and the subsidies on several other schemes have been reduced, he alleged.
