:TDP state general secretary Varla Ramaiah said that AICC president Sonia Gandhi bore grudge against Seemandhra people. The UPA government took back the bifurcation decision following uproar in Seemandhra in 2009. The State was divided with sole objective of making Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister. Ms. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi would have to face the curse of Seemandhra people. Mr. Rahul Gandhi would never become PM for doing injustice to Seemandhra people, he said.
CPI(M) district secretary R. Raghu said that his party had been opposing the bifurcation of linguistic state. It has been cautioning on ill effects of the division of the State. But, none paid attention to it.
Ultimately the state is heading for division. Congress, ruling party, and BJP, which is aspiring to come to power, were hand in glove regarding the Bill. The drama which was unfolding for last few months came to climax with Lok Sabha approving the AP Reorganisation Bill, he said.

TDP BC Cell district president Veeranki Venkata Gurumurthy said that the Congress party did gross injustice to Telugus by adopting the Bill within 23 minutes. The Telugus faced insult and humiliation in Parliament like Draupadi in Kourava sabha, he said.
