The participants in the National City Makers Caravan Team arrived here on Thursday as part of their country-wide roadshow to campaign for their slogan of building houses for the homeless and the urban poor as per a judgment of the Supreme Court.

The caravan team, which started the journey on August 17 this year, touched 132 cities and towns in 22 States before arriving here. Team head Anand said that the Government should abide by the apex court's order and provide housing so that the basic rights of the urban poor could be fulfilled.
