APTDC to come up with Pushkaralu tour packages

Here is some good news for all those, who wish to participate in Godavari Pushkaralu and take a holy dip at Rajahmundry. The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Limited is conducting four tour packages from the city to Rajahmundry under four routes with different itineraries.

The itineraries have been designed to facilitate the devotees to return Vijayawada in a day after participating in the Pushkaralu at Rajahmundry. The tours will be conducted from July 14 to 27 in non-AC buses, excluding food and accommodation. A guide would be travelling in each bus for the convenience of devotees and efforts are being made to arrange for exclusive bathing ghats for devotees arriving in APTDC buses, said V.V.S.Gangaraju, Divisional Manager of APTDC.

In the direct tour package from Vijayawada to Rajahmundry, (fare Rs.600 for adults and Rs.500 for child), the bus would depart from APTDC central reservation office in the city at 11 p.m. and arrive Rajahmundry at 4 a.m. After pushkar bath and breakfast, devotees will depart from Rajahmundry at 8 a.m. and arrive in Vijayawada at 1.30 p.m.

Temple tour

Likewise, in other tours devotees will be departing at 11 p.m. from Vijayawada and arriving back in evening the next day. In one tour, they will be covering Jaganmohini Kesava and Gopala Swamy temple at Ryali, Kshira Rama Lingeshwara swamy temple, Palacole, Lord Someshwara temple, Bhimavaram and arrive back in Vijayawada. Fare for this tour is Rs.750 per adult and Rs.650 per child.

In another tour, they will be covering Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Antervedi, Kshira Rama Lingeshwara swamy temple, Palacole, Lord Someshwara temple, Bhimavaram and arrive back in Vijayawada. Fare for this tour is Rs.750 per adult and Rs.650 per child.

In the Vijayawada – Guravaigudem tour, devotees will cover Sri Maddi Anjaneya Swamy temple, Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple, Dwaraka Tirumala. Fare for this tour is Rs.600 and Rs.550.

Free breakfast

Further, the APTDC is offering free breakfast in boats for those staying in Punnami resorts at Berm Perk and the same will be offered for general visitors on payment of Rs.150 per head from Sunday. Likewise, dinner is provided for general visitors in boats for Rs.300 per head.
