Air India to fly to Delhi from October 30

Air India is all set to operate its flight from Vijayawada to Delhi from Gannavaram airport from October 30. It is operating an Airbus 319 with the capacity to seat 122 passengers (eight in executive class and 114 in economy) , according to Station Manager S. Narayana Rao. In a release on Thursday, Mr. Rao said that the flight would be operated on all days from Delhi to Vijayawada via Hyderabad and back, but the flight timings would be different on one day. “On all days (except Tuesdays) Air India flight at Delhi will take off at 12.55 p.m., reach Hyderabad at 3.05 and will start for Hyderabad at 3.50 p.m. and reach Vijayawada at 4. 30 p.m.,” he said. Mr. Rao said that the flight would take off from Vijayawada at 5.05 p.m., from Hyderabad at 7.10 p.m. and it would reach Delhi at 9.20 p.m. “On Tuesdays the flight will take off from Delhi at 1.35 p.m. and reach Hyderabad at 3.35 p.m. and starting from Hyderabad at 4.05 it will reach Vijayawada at 4.50 p.m. and depart from Vijayawada at 5.35 p.m. Hyderabad to Delhi timings will be the same,” he added.

The minimum fare from Vijayawada to Hyderabad is Rs. 1,885 and Rs. 6,875 from Vijayawada to Delhi. The tickets can be got from Air India office on M.G. Road behind Indian Bank or any travel agent. “The Air India flight from Vijayawada will also connect several domestic destinations like Mumbai and overseas flights at Hyderabad and Delhi to Dubai, Muscat, London, New York, Newark and Europe,” Mr. Rao explained.
