Traffic diversion for car festival

The Tiruchi Police has announced that heavy goods vehicles and mofussil buses will be diverted on Tuesday in view of the Samayapuram Temple car festival. Accordingly, all heavy goods vehicles and mofussil buses proceeding towards Salem from Tiruchi will go via check post – 7 (Kudamurutti), Jeeyapuram, Pettavaithalai, Kulithalai, Musiri, Thottiyam, Namakkal, and return in the same direction.

Tiruchi-bound heavy goods vehicles and moffussil buses from Salem and Namakkal will be diverted at Musiri Kaikatti and proceed via Kulithalai, Pettavaithalai, Jeeyapuram and check post – 7 (Kudamurutti).

All heavy goods vehicles and moffusil buses coming from Ariyalur to Tiruchi would be diverted at Pullambadi (Kathirikulam) towards Sangethi and proceed via Thachankurichi and Irungalur Kaikatti national highway to reach Tiruchi, a release here said.

Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police S. Rajeswari, inspected the security arrangements at Samayapuram . She also inspected the car streets along with the Joint Commissioner of the temple, Thennarasu, a release said.
