Members of the Tiruchi Bar Association boycotted the courts on Thursday condemning the recent murder of an advocate S.Mathiazhagan in the city and also to demanded handing over of the case to the Crime Branch CID or the Central Bureau of Investigation.

The advocates, led by S.Martin, president, Tiruchi Bar Association, also called on the City Police Commissioner Shailesh Kumar Yadav and presented a memorandum to him.

No progress has been made in the investigation of the murder of Mathiazhagan even after a month, the memorandum said.

The Bar members were deeply concerned over the cold-blooded murder and considered it a threat to advocates.
