The Women Entrepreneurs Association of Tamil Nadu (WEAT) will organise a seminar on “Branding of products and services and scope for expansion of business through digital marketing,” at its office here on July 18. Entrepreneurs and self employed persons, engaged in production or offering services, can participate in the seminar to get a better market through branding and digital marketing. Consultancy would be offered to such persons.

Special camps

Special camps to renew the registration of students getting educational assistance under the Farmers Protection Scheme would be held at all taluk offices in the district from July 16 to 24, Collector K.S.Palanisamy said. Candidates who had got the assistance during 2015-16 can renew their registrations by producing the bonafide certificates from the educational institutions. The applications can be submitted to the Special Tahsildars from 10 a.m. to 5.45 p.m. during the camp days, he said.

AMMA camps

Special camps under the Assured Maximum Service to Marginalised People in All Villages (AMMA) Scheme will be held at the following places in the district on Friday: K.Sathanur (North), K.Abishekapuram, Elanthapatti, Killikoodu, Sekkanam, Peruvalanallur (West),Thirupainjeeli (North), Thumbalam, Veeramachanpatti and Kattuputhur (East). Residents of the villages can avail the services of the Revenue Department at the camp, an official press release said.
