The Indian Overseas Bank inked a memorandum of understanding with the Sastra University for extending education loans to the students of the varsity.

Speaking after singing the documents, IOB Senior Regional Manager, N, Murugan, observed that the MoU would help the Sastra University students avail flexible and hassle-free education loans from the IOB branches at their native place or in the branch on the university campus.

During counselling, the IOB would establish a special counter for on-the-spot sanctioning of education loans to eligible students, he added.

Registrar of the Sastra University G. Bhalachandran signed the MoU.
