T. Senthil Kumar took over as the Superintendent of Police, Thanjavur district, here on Sunday. He succeeds J. Mahesh since transferred. Prior to his present assignment, Mr. Senthil Kumar was Deputy Commissioner, Crime and Traffic, Tiruchi City.
Mr. Senthil Kumar said that his priorities would include maintaining law and order, crime prevention, reducing incidences of road accident and taking prompt action on complaints preferred by the public at the police stations.
