Minister inspects government printing press at Thuvakudi

Minister for Information and Publicity Kadambur Raju on Saturday inspected the government branch printing press at Thuvakudi in the outskirts of the city.

The Minister inspected the working of the modern printing press installed at a cost of Rs.65 lakh. In a press release issued later, Mr. Raju said that the government printing presses were functioning at nine places in the State including Chennai, Madurai, Pudukottai, Vriddhachalam, Salem and Thuvakudi. They were engaged in printing government forms, applications, election – related material and binding works. All the presses were functioning well and new machines were being provided as per the direction of the Chief Minister. Wherever necessary, the government printing presses would be provided with new buildings, he said.

Minister for Tourism Vellamandi N.Natarajan and T.Rathinavel, MP, accompanied Mr. Raju.
