Jamal Mohamed College bagged the overall championship in NACOTECH 2K13, a technical symposium in Tiruchi recently.
Organised by the Postgraduate Department of Computer Science, National College, the symposium was inaugurated by E.Kannan, Registrar, Vel Tech Technical University, Chennai, in the presence of S.X.Prabhu, principal (in-charge), National College, and P.S.S. Akilashri, head, Department of Computer Science. Mr. Kannan spoke on the challenges in IT field and the need for inter-disciplinary research.
Various competitions based on Computer Science such as debugging, just in time, technical quiz, and ad-zap, were conducted. It attracted more than 150 students from 20 colleges.
At the valediction, S. Gopala Krishnan, associate dean, Department of MCA, SASTRA University, gave away the prizes in the presence of V.Kumar, Controller of Examinations, National College.
