Keshav Pasari, student of Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchi, has been selected as a “Future Business Leader” at CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) Global Business Challenge held at Warsaw, Poland.
He was part of the Maverick Minds, the team of IIM-T that represented India in the final held at Warsaw between August 3 and 9. While Pasari was selected as a best participant (Future Business Leader), the team finished runners-up. An international panel of judges comprising top executives of multi national companies, selected Pasari, who is pursuing Post Graduate Programme in IIM-T.
He was among the 14,000 candidates, who participated in different stages of competitions. Twenty six countries including Australia, United Kingdom, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Russia had participated in the annual competition.
Earlier, IIM-T team emerged national winner among 450 teams represented by various institutes and universities. After being shortlisted for the national level, the team outsmarted 20 teams in the semi final and six teams in the national final.
Terming the selection an important achievement, Prafulla Agnihotri, Director, IIM-T, told The Hindu that the team had brought laurels to the institute. They had defeated many global teams from leading institutes.
