The State government has introduced few guidelines for speedy transfer of names of the land site pattas. The guidelines have been issued for two categories: for the pattas involving sub-division and pattas not involving sub-division.

In the case of pattas not involving sub-division, the applicant should submit the petition and should be in possession of an acknowledgement issued by village administrative officer, or revenue inspector or tahsildhar. The applicant should appear in person, along with required documents, on the second Friday succeeding the date of submission of petition and get the change in the name of the patta.

In the case of pattas involving sub-division, the petitioner should be in possession of the acknowledgement issued by the village administrative officer or revenue inspector or the tahsildhar. They should, along with parent documents, appear in person on the fourth Friday from the date of filing of the petition.
