The South Indian Consumer Protection Association has urged the State government to ensure uninterrupted power supply to all places across the State like Chennai.
A resolution to this effect was adopted at the executive committee meeting of the association held here recently. The meeting was presided over by the association executive president, M. Muthusamy.
Another resolution urged the Tiruchi Railway Divisional authorities to attach additional coaches in the Tiruchi – Palakkad Town Fast Passenger.
While appealing to the district administration and corporation authorities to initiate strict action against those traders selling expired food products.
Another resolution appealed to the State Transport Minister, K.N. Nehru, to take steps to cancel the licences of those who cause fatal accidents by driving vehicles in a rash manner.
