Education loan camp at Perambalur on July 6, 20

A single window loan camp to assist the poor students pursue higher education would be conducted at the collectorate here on July 6 and 20.

According to a release from Collector Darez Ahamed, all the bankers functioning in the district would take part in the camp to extend loans to the students in their respective service areas.

While the camp on July 6 would be for students hailing from Perambalur and Veppanthattai unions, the next would be for those from Veppur and Alathur unions. Although the applicants should belong to Perambalur district, they could study anywhere. If they could produce the requisite documents at the camp, steps would be taken to sanction the loan the same day. The documents such as residence proof, income certificate, and so on would be provided by the village administrative officers at the camp itself.

Information would be provided by the Adi Dravida Department regarding the State government scholarships. The applicants should attend the camp with two passport size photographs, mark list of class 10 or 12, college admission card, ration card, and order allocating seats in the engineering\medical\ other professional courses.

Application forms could be obtained from all the panchayat union offices or the district rural development agency free of cost. Besides, they could be downloaded from www.perambalur.nic.in and >www.peramblur.tn.nic.in .
