Differently-abled persons get tool kits

District Collector Jayashree Muralidharan distributed tool kits to 15 differently abled persons who had recently undergone training in mobile phone repair and service in the city on Monday.

The differently abled persons from various parts of the district had undergone the three-month training conducted with government assistance at Bishop Heber Community College.

Each trainee was now provided with tool kits estimated at Rs. 2,898 to pursue the vocation.

The tool kits were provided with funding from the District Welfare Committee, an official release said.
