Cyclone ‘Laila’ heading north west

Signal No.2 was hoisted at Nagapattinam Port indicating cyclone formation 600 miles South-East of Chennai on the Bay of Bengal. According to the Port Officer Anbarasan, the cyclone Laila was heading towards the north west direction and is expected to cross the Andhra Pradesh/Orissa coast in two days.
