Collector seeks reply on action taken on grievance petitions

Collector T.Abraham on Monday instructed the officials to take quick action on the petitions submitted at the public grievances meeting and send reply to the petitioners within a fortnight.

Presiding over the public grievances meeting here, the Collector said he had received nearly three hundred petitions.

Most of them pertained to patta transfers, assistance for education, marriage and differently-abled persons, he said.

The Collector distributed assistance of Rs.1, 200 each to 247 school children belonging to Adi Dravidar and Scheduled Tribe communities.

He also issued patta transfer orders to 41 persons, old age pension and assistance to five disabled persons.

He instructed the officials to take immediate steps to issue pattas to Narikorava families in Jayamkondam block.

R.Pichai, District Revenue Officer, J.Bellah, Project Officer, DRDA and other officials attended the meeting.
