Thanjavur

Rural town of Peravurani experienced the maximum rainfall of 135 mm in the last 24 hours that ended at 8.30 a.m. on Wednesday, followed by Manjalaru 128 mm; Ammapettai 124 mm. and Neyvasal Thenpathi 110.02 mm.

Pandavaiyar head received the maximum rainfall of 122 mm in the last 24 hours, followed by Nannilam 120.4 mm.; Tiruvarur 108 mm.; Tiruthuraipoondi 96.8 mm.; Nidamangalam 96.2 mm.; Mannargudi 94 mm.; Valangaiman 89.2 mm.; Kodavasal 85.6 mm. and Muthupettai 64.2 mm.

Nagapattinam

Talaignyayiru experienced the maximum rainfall of 106.6 mm rainfall in Nagapattinam district in the last 24 hours, followed by Anaikaranchathiram 93 mm.; Vedaranyam 89 mm.; Tarangampadi 84 mm.; Nagapattinam 81.5 mm.; Manalmedu 79.4 mm.; Sirkazhi 77.8 mm.; Tirupoondi 69 mm.; Mayiladuthurai 64.4 mm.

Heavy rain lashed parts of Pudukottai district on Tuesday. The coastal areas received sharp showers and fishermen did not venture into sea.

Perambalur

Parts of Perambalur district experienced sharp showers on Tuesday. For the 24 hours ended at 8-30 a.m. on Wednesday, Peramablur received a maximum of 50 mm of rain followed by Thazhuthalai 37, Chettikulam 33, Padalur 32 and Venbavur 23 mm.

Ariyalur

Tirumayam and Jayamkondam received maximum rain of 60 mm each. Sendurai registered 51 mm while Ariyalur received 35 mm.
