Bus services on new route flagged off

Bus services on a new route and additional services on a couple of others in Srirangam constituency were flagged by N.R.Sivapathi, Minister for School Education, Law, Youth Welfare and Sports, here on Sunday.

The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation would operate services on a new route from Chathram Bus Stand to Vellivadi via Woraiyur, Puthur, Collectorate, Ramji Nagar, and Inam Kulathur. Four singles would be operated on this route every day.

The Corporation would also operate three additional trips on the Central Bus Stand-Keezha Kondayampettai route via Thiruvanaikovil over the existing three and two additional trips on the Chathram Bus Stand-Kallanai route via Thiruvanaikovil, Nadukodanyampettai, Ponnurangapuram, and Killikoodu from the two existing singles. The two additional trips on the Chathram Bus Stand-Killikoodu route would be ladies specials, one each in the mornings and evenings. R.Manoharan, MLA, Jayashree Muralidharan, Collector, M.Pasupathi, General Manager, TNSTC, and other officials were present.
