Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will conduct a special SIM sales mela in the city from July 20 to 25. Public could obtain SIM card worth Rs. 69 with Nesam Gold Plan for only Rs. 20.
Users of this SIM card could get 1,000 seconds on-net calls, 500 seconds off-net calls, 50MB data in addition to monthly 25 SMS free. Plan validity is 365 days. Full talk time would be available for Rs. 200 top-ups and all India free roaming facility would be available to all BSNL mobile customers. The special mela would be held at various places including Customer Service Centres at Cantonment, Mainguard gate, Srirangam and Thiruverambur.
Those desiring to obtain the special SIM card should bring one passport size photo and Xerox copy of one of the following documents – passport, ration card, driving licence, voter ID and Aadhar card, a press release said.
