The Tiruchi unit of the National Federation of the Blind has urged the Corporation authorities to expeditiously allot a site for the organisation on long lease for establishing a library and office in the city.
In a representation to the Mayor, the federation said the demand for allocation of the site to the organisation had been pending for long, even after a High Court directive. Hence, the site should be allotted immediately, the organisation said.
