Air Fest

The Indian Air Force as part of the Independence Day celebrations is hosting an Air Fest at the Air Force Station here on August 13. Named ``Know Your Forces'', the Air Fest is aimed at fostering a sense of pride and patriotism among the youth and sensitise them with the functioning and role of the IAF.

There will be a static display of some of the frontline aircraft and weapon systems of the IAF and publicity stalls will be set up at the venue.

Schools and colleges in the region will be extended invitation to send their students to the Air Fest and they will be given time between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on August 13 while the general public will be allowed to visit the Air Fest stalls between 2 p.m. and 4-30 p.m, according to a press release issued here by the IAF Air Force Station.
