The veteran of many a political and social battle is now taking his toddler steps into cyberspace; V.S. Achuthanandan is all set to be as robust a presence in Facebook and Twitter as he is in Kerala politics.
The Leader of the Opposition’s website would chronicle his hardship-filled youth, the path of public service he chose for himself, the tales of struggles launched by the Communist Party and the Communist Party of India (Marxist), his fight against environmental degradation and his struggles inside the State Assembly. The website would also play host to a series of cartoons in which Mr. Achuthanandan is the central figure.
Campaign launch on Sunday
Mr. Achuthanandan’s new media campaign would be launched by CPI(M) State secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan at the CPI(M) district committee office at Palakkad at 11 a.m. on April 17.
