The minimalistic website asks you to play a simple game to find out which party best matches your line of thinking. To start off, it gives you virtual money worth Rs.100 and asks you to divide it among the different sectors, much like what our finance ministers are supposed to do before the annual budget.
Allocation for sectorsThe 10 sectors are agriculture, industry, technology, security, anti-corruption, minorities, infrastructure, public sector, social sector and environment.
Adjacent to each of the sectors are movable sliders, using which you can reduce or increase the allocation for each sector. To make it further easier, helpful tips are provided to tell you what would happen with a left or right shift of the slider. So in agriculture, you can either choose to increase the support prices and write-off farm loans or reduce farm subsidies and push for further urbanisation.
In the security sector, the choice is between ‘brutal suppression of terrorists’ and ‘promote dialogue and more human rights.’

Once the allocations are done, the site will list out your percentage of support for each of the four major parties – the Left, Congress, AAP and the BJP.
According to the developers of the site, ‘the results obtained are arrived by matching your allocation with the weighted averages for each sector, for all political parties. The values for the parties are arrived by the way they have handled each sector when in governance, and also in their latest manifesto.’
