The Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) and the Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad (KSSP) will celebrate November 7 to 14 as ‘Scientific Temper Week’ all over the State.

The observance, to coincide with Marie Curie’s 150th birth anniversary and C.V. Raman’s 129th birth anniversary, both of which falls on November 7, will feature science dialogues, classes, experiment corners, debates in schools, colleges and among the public and organised visits to the nearest science and technology centres. There will also be symposia on science and campus science festivals.

The observances will end with a Kerala Rally for Science at all district headquarters.

People from all walks life and eminent personalities in society, the scientific community, college and school teachers and college students will take part in the observances, which will be formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at a rally at Kozhikode on November 7.
