The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) has sanctioned Rs.12 crore to the district panchayat to construct new blocks at the Neyyattinkara taluk hospital.
Minister for Health V.S. Sivakumar would lay the foundation for the new blocks on October 25, district panchayat president Ansajitha Ressal said at the monthly general committee meeting of the panchayat on Tuesday. The new facility would house specialty centres and operation theatres, she said.
