Police aid post at Athiyannoor

The Armed Reserve camp which was shifted from Neyyattinkara to Pulingudi will be brought back and a new police aid post will be set up at Athiyannoor, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has said. He was speaking after inaugurating a new police building complex at Neyyattinkara on Friday.

Mr. Chennithala said that in the past three months, the crime rate had come down 30 per cent due to Operation Suraksha. Around one lakh offenders were brought to book. As per the National Crime Records Bureau, Kerala holds the first place in law and order, solving crime and punishing criminals, he said.
