Lieutenant Sunil Raj of 1 Kerala Battalion, National Cadet Corps (NCC), who secured ‘A’ grade in the NCC Precommission Course, was felicitated here recently.
Lt. Sunil Raj, who represented the Varkala Battalion, was presented with a memento by Colonel J. Nanda Kumar, Officiating Commanding Officer, 1 Kerala Battalion, Varkala. An assistant professor at Government College, Attingal, Lt. Sunil Raj is one of the two teachers from the State who secured ‘A’ grade in the Precommission Course conducted at the Officers Training Academy, Kamptee in Nagpur.
241 teachers took part
As many as 241 college teachers from across the country attended the three-month course. The State was represented by eight teachers. The course includes physical activities such as running, sports, firing, map reading, drills and so on.
