Mobile unit at Pookode gives ABC some drive

The unit will travel to different wards where dogs would be caught and mobile laparoscopic sterilisation performed.

A mobile critical care clinic of the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) at Pookode in Wayanad, to sterilise stray dogs in the city, arrived here on Monday. Mayor K. Chandrika flagged off the unit at the Fort zonal office of the Corporation.

It is part of the Corporation’s Animal Birth Control (ABC) measures. The unit will travel to different wards where dogs would be caught and mobile laparoscopic sterilisation (keyhole surgery) performed.
