The State leadership meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held here on Wednesday is understood have discussed the discrepancies in apportioning funds among the candidates for the Assembly elections.
Party sources said it was mentioned that the machinery remained static during the initial phase due to paucity of funds. Once the national leadership released funds, it was routed through the RSS that micro-managed the election campaign across the State. There were complaints that the campaign resources were distributed in a partisan manner.
