Land for UAE consulate

The State Cabinet has decided to allot 70 cents of land on lease at Peroorkada for setting up the United Arab Emirates (UAE) consultate.

90-year lease

The land is being allotted on 90 years’ lease on terms based on which the Central government had sanctioned land to the UAE Embassy and Consulate.

The Cabinet also decided to allot 75 cents of land to the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) for setting up the A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Knowledge Centre and Museum.

Lease

The land is being given to the VSSC on 30 years’ lease.

It also decided to sanctioned 13 posts in the paediatric cardiology department of the Sree Avittom Thirunal (SAT) Hospital here.
