Case against CEO

The Museum police have registered a case of assault against Sandesh G. Nair, chief operating officer of a television channel, in connection with the road rage incident in the city earlier this week.

According to the police, the case was registered after Bilgin Thomas, son of Thomas George, special private secretary to Chief Whip P.C. George, lodged a complaint that he was assaulted by Mr. Nair. The police said they had obtained video clippings of the incident, which they said had begun with Mr. Thomas assaulting Mr. Nair, and Mr. Nair chasing the former in his car before assaulting him in retaliation. The police had first registered a case against Mr. Thomas only, based on Mr. Nair’s complaint.
