Fellowship award presented

February 22, 2011 02:10 pm | Updated 02:10 pm IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

The Travelling Fellowship Award of the International Technology Law Organisation (ITechLaw) was presented to Nikhil Narendran, hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, by Ursuala Widmer, Chair of the International Visiting Associate Programme of ITechLaw, at a function in Bangalore recently.

The award is meant to expose an Indian lawyer to the different legal systems in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) law, which has an increasing cross-border dimension, and enable him/her to experience at first hand how the ICT law is practised in these places. The organisation wants the award winner to return to India, apply the experience gained in Europe and use the knowledge acquired to educate other lawyers in India.
